My Masters...Will It Ever End?
I think I see a glimmer...the slightest glimmer of light peeking out from around the corner. I am of course referring to the light at the end of this amazingly long, 3-year tunnel I affectionally call SLIM (School of Library and Information Management). This whole entire school year to come I only have to worry about two classes. BUT!!!! They are the most important two classes I will ever taken at SLIM. The first one is called Practicum which consists of 120 hours of work and many projects in several different libraries while I am currently holding down my real job. The second and last class I will take at SLIM is Capstone. This is the class where I get to "Refect back over my SLIM experience." Sounds lovely right? Right! For this class I will "get" to build a web page that links to all my work and reflective statements about my work and tie it all together with the outcomes and standards. YUCK!
Regardless of all of this, I am really excited to start all of this work because it means I will soon be done with all of this work. What will I do with myself once I finish this? Maybe I might get to read for FUN. I have forgotten how to do that. Can't wait though!
