July Pretty Much Rocks

I am not sure that we could possibly fit more into one month. The best part of every summer is StuCo Camp. I know, it sounds nerdy, but it really is pretty darn awesome. This was my third year on staff, and it just keeps getting better and better. So many great kids and so many wonderful friends. Fortunately, while I am not sleeping at all at camp, the kids are loving life at Camp Papangee. My parents spoil them rotten and take them really neat places. I never have to worry the whole 8 days I am reliving my dorm days...shower shoes and all.

Emory also traveled with her dance group to Nationals in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It was a pretty quick trip, but we had a nice time. The girls took First Place for their age division and got the special award for Cutie Patooties. I was pretty darn proud of her becasue there is no way I ever could have done what she did. Bright lights, loud music, loads of people...on a stage! She just loved every second of it and did a great job!
