Oh Yeah...I Graduated

After years of plodding through my Masters program, I finally graduated this past May. My friends and I all walked across the stage on the hottest day in May, but it was worth it. I wanted my kids, that have spent countless weekends and week nights without Mom, to see me get the coveted diploma. It was nice.

I have since spent nearly every day in my new library rearranging all the books, furniture, ripping down old, faded posters and comics, and overall creating a brand new atmosphere here at CSHS. I look forward to showing it all off come fall. I will take pictures when I am all done.

Long Lost Brother Returns..Hip Hip Hooray!

It has been six, long years since Chris stepped foot in Kansas, and man were we happy to see him! After a particularly grueling year for Chris, it was great to see him doing so well. We had the best visit. I loved that he was able to spend some time down on the farm with my family and me. I miss him lots and look at these pictures all the time.

Our Little T-Baller

Emory really seemed to enjoy her first T-Ball team and got better with every practice, but she really didn't think Mom knew what she was talking about. Papa was able to get through to her a little better than I was. Go Figure! Anway, it was super fun. I can't wait until she and Owen can really play so that I can have someone to play catch with!

I just think this is the cutest picture! She lost two teeth in 2 days. It was a little traumatic...okay....a lot traumatic. But, our Tooth Fairy gives wonderful gifts, so it was all worth it in the end.
